Do I need a separate consultation before booking?
No.
Every appointment at GloVolution begins with a personalized consultation before treatment starts. We’ll review your goals, evaluate your lips, answer your questions, and confirm the best treatment plan before moving forward.
Am I too old for Lip Blushing?
Absolutely not.
In fact, many of my Lip Blushing clients are in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond. Mature lips often benefit beautifully from restoring lost color and definition. Every treatment is customized to complement your features and create soft, natural-looking results that never appear harsh or overdone.
What if I get cold sores?
If you have a history of cold sores, Lip Blushing can trigger an outbreak. For your safety and the best possible healing, you’ll need to contact your healthcare provider before your appointment to discuss whether an antiviral medication is appropriate. We’ll review this together during your pre-appointment process so you’re fully prepared.
How long does healing take?
Your lips will go through several normal healing stages. Initially, they’ll appear brighter and more vibrant than your final result. Over the following days and weeks, the color will soften, lighten, and continue to bloom as your lips heal. Most of the surface healing occurs within the first couple of weeks, while the final healed color continues developing over approximately 8 to 12 weeks.
What if I've had filler or injections?
Lip Blushing and lip filler can complement one another beautifully when performed at the appropriate time.
If you’ve recently had lip filler or other cosmetic lip injections, you’ll need to wait at least two weeks before your Lip Blushing appointment. This allows any swelling to subside and gives your lips time to settle into their final shape, and prevents migration so I can accurately assess your anatomy and create the most balanced, natural-looking result.
Likewise, if you’re planning to have filler after your Lip Blushing treatment, I recommend waiting at least two weeks after your appointment before receiving additional injections. Giving your lips time to heal helps protect your results and ensures your injector is working with fully healed tissue.
If you’ve had filler in the past, we’ll evaluate your lips at the beginning of your appointment to determine whether you’re an appropriate candidate and discuss any recommendations before treatment begins. My goal is always to create the most beautiful, natural-looking result while keeping the health of your lips my top priority.
Will I need a touch up?
Most clients benefit from a perfection appointment approximately 6–8 weeks after their initial treatment. This allows us to evaluate how your lips have healed, make any necessary refinements, and ensure your final healed result is everything we envisioned together.
